Massive races to end the summer race season down under!

The next two weekend's will see some massive paddle events take place in Sydney which will see the formal close of the Summer Paddle Race Season in Australia for SUP, Ocean Ski and OC's.

Vaikobi will be in the thick of the action and is proud to continue our strong support of these fantastic Ocean Paddling races!

SYDNEY SUP FESTIVAL

Kicking off today is the Sydney SUP festival on Pittwater on the northern beaches. This two day event features a downwinder today (Saturday) and then the annual around Scotland Island race tomorrow. Sunday will be a massive day at RMYC with demo's, lessons and SUPyoga sessions available throughout the day.

Next weekend see's all the action move to Manly for what will be one of the biggest weekends of Ocean Paddle Racing out of one venue with two massive events- The Hawaiian Airlines Sydney Harbour Challenge and the Manly Wharf Bridge to Beach (Final Australian Ocean Racing Series event)

HAWAIIAN AIRLINES SYDNEY HARBOUR CHALLENGE

Saturday 27th of March will see the International Outrigger Racing community invade Manly Beach for for the Hawaiian Airlines Sydney Harbour Challenge.

This annual event has grown from strength to strength and will see over 1000 Outrigger paddlers, from USA, Tahiti, NZ and around Australia, compete throughout the day in OC6's.

There will be Mixed, Women's and Men's races throughout the day taking on the 20km course down the harbour, under the Sydney Harbour Bridge and back to Manly Beach.

MANLY WHARF BRIDGE TO BEACH

The last race of the Australian Ocean Racing Series, the Manly Wharf Bridge to Beach will be held on Sunday 28th of March and will see in excess of 500 competitors compete across all paddle disciplines- OceanSki, SUP & Outrigger.

The 12km race sets a cracking pace as competitors start under Sydney Harbour Bridge and head up the harbour, finishing at Manly Beach.

The competition will be hot at the head of the field with the likes of current World Champ Cory Hill ,  2013 World Champ Sean Rice, Michael Booth, Mark Anderson and Jeremy Cotter all pushing hard to take the last race of the Australian Ocean Racing Series.
